Question 1 - Does your Fire and Rescue Service (FRS) use any of the following technologies: Fred (also known as ‘Fasty’) Rosenbauer RTE Robot Drones Emergency One Scorpion Rosenbauer Stinger Others ?

Drone technology is employed by ECFRS.

Question 2 - Does your service use any technologies not listed above and if so, what are they?

4 DJI Matrice 30T drones for our Urban Search and Rescue Team.

Question 3 - If your service does use any of the listed above, does your service require firefighters to undergo training to operate these pieces of technology?

Yes the relevant licenses for flying a drone above A1/A3 category are required which includes training.

This is expanded with an additional staff for spotting for VLOS and operating the camera.
