Questions and final response:

I am trying to establish who is currently contracted to supply you with domestic smoke detectors for your community prevention work. After looking through your website I can’t find these details in you contracts register.

The information I am trying to find about the supply contract of domestic smoke detectors is:

  • Current contract start and end date
  • Current supplier
  • Value
  • Product requirements
  • Where the tender will be advertised

In addition, any information on how I can express an interest to tender future opportunities would be appreciated

Please see below details the supply contract of domestic smoke detectors is:

  • Current contract start and end date: Not on a contract. These are supplied under a framework agreement owned by West Midlands Fire Service
  • Current supplier: Fireblitz UK
  • Value: Coverage up to £50,000 but not on target to reach that.
  • Product requirements: standard smoke alarm
  • Where the tender will be advertised: There is no tender advertised but the framework information is available from West Midlands FRS upon request.

For future tendering opportunities, please look out on Contracts Finder (available on line) for any future opportunities to bid on any kind of work for Public Sector organisations including local authorities.
