Questions and final response:

I would like to know on how many occasions over the year a fire appliance has been unavailable due to insufficient crewing levels. 

For each occasion, please could you provide the date, length of time the appliance was unavailable, type of appliance and the station it is based at. 

Please could I have this information for the years 2015, 2019 and 2020 (not including subsequent years).

  • The 'Pivot' tab shows the number of occasions for the years, 2019 and 2020, that a pumping appliance was unavailable (Off the Run) due to shortage of riders. The table shows the call sign, appliance type, station based at and number of occasions (based on the year that the appliance went OTR).
  • The 'Data' tab shows the information outlined in the pivot chart as well as the date that the appliance went off the run, came back on the run and the duration in minutes.

We do not hold availability data for 2015.
