Two flats have been completely destroyed after a serious fire in Buckhurst Hill yesterday (Sunday 21 May).
Firefighters were alerted by neighbours to a fire in the garden and was spread into the property which consisted of four flats (two ground floor and two first floor).

It has been concluded that the cause of the fire is unknown.

Firefighters have finished extinguishing the fire, and a fire investigation will now take place to find the cause of the fire.

Crews remain at the scene this morning.
The Aerial Ladder Platforms are no longer required but firefighters continue to monitor hotspots.
A fire investigation will be carried out when it is safe to do so.
Crews have praised two children who raised the alarm after a kitchen fire in Thundersley.
We were called to a detached house in Grasmere Road today at 1.35pm and crews from Basildon and Canvey attended.
Watch Manager Rob Fossett said: "A fire had started in the kitchen and caused a lot of smoke. However, the homeowners had removed the smoke alarms while they were redecorating.
"Fortunately, the two children at the property smelt the smoke and alerted their mum who got the family to safety and called 999.
Crews have extinguished a house fire in Takeley.
We were called to a detached house in Dunmow Road today at 2.43am and crews from Stansted, Newport, Harlow and Bishop's Stortford (Hertfordshire) attended.
We were also supported by Stansted Airport Fire Service's High Reach Extendable Turret appliance.
Station Manager Terry Maher said: "The owners were alerted to the fire by their dogs barking in the early hours of this morning.
"The fire started in an outbuilding at the rear of the property and quickly spread to the roof of the house.
A fire has destroyed three garages in Kelvedon Hatch this afternoon (Thursday 18 May).

Crews were called to Clacton Road, Thorrington, on Wednesday night after a staff member called to report a fire in a commercial kitchen.
While on the phone the staff member told control officers he was attempting to tackle the fire himself. The control officer told the man to get out and stay out to stop putting himself in danger.

Firefighters are highlighting the importance of keeping doors closed at home if you can to prevent fire and smoke spreading after a fire in Wickford yesterday.
Crews were called to London Road, Wickford at 5:13pm to reports of a roof fire after residents heard their smoke alarms and saw smoke.
On arrival, crews reported that the roof space of a detached house was on fire.
Firefighters found the source of the fire was in an electrical cupboard in the loft connected to solar panels on the roof.
Crews were called to a work yard in Roydon today to rescue a man whose arm had become trapped within the suspension of a coach.
A double-decker coach was lifted with hydraulics when a strut failed, dropping the coach and trapping the man's arm.
Firefighters were first on the scene and quickly began setting up equipment ready for the medical team's arrival.

"This incident took some time because it was important the equipment was set up safely and all procedures were followed to ensure a safe rescue.
Crews were called to a shop in London Road, Boreham, after a member of staff noticed smoke coming from a fridge freezer.
The shop staff quickly evacuated the shop and called 999.
