Whether you don’t have working smoke alarms or simply want expert advice on how to reduce fire risks at home, our team is here to help.

Home Safety Visit
A Home Safety Visit is a great way to make sure your home is as safe as possible. One of our fire safety specialists will visit your property to check for potential fire risks and talk with you about any specific needs or concerns you may have.
You can book a visit for yourself or on behalf of someone else. The quickest way to arrange a visit is by using our online booking form, or you can get in touch directly with our Home Safety Team.
The service we offer includes:
- Smoke alarms
- Sensory smoke alarms for people with hearing loss
- Advice on home fire safety
- Health and wellbeing check (and referral if required)
- Electrical hazards, kitchen safety and general safety in the home
- Advice around cost of living
- Crime prevention advice
- Advice about carbon monoxide and gas safety
- Fire retardant bedding
- Assessment for a Portable Misting Unit (for most at risk and vulnerable residents)
- Training for carers
