Firefighters tackle houses on fire in Bradfield

The fire is now out. A fire investigation will be carried out to determine the cause of the fire. 

Firefighters are currently tackling a fire on The Street, Bradfield. If you live in the area please keep all your windows and doors shut as there is a lot of smoke coming from the scene.

The fire is affecting two semi-detached properties.

Crews are using an aerial ladder platform from Colchester to extinguish the fire from above as it has spread to the roofs.
