Fire at scrap yard

Firefighters were called to reports of a fire in Dock Road, Tilbury.

When firefighters arrived they reported the fire was affecting an area used to store fridges for recycling, scrap metal and a 40 foot container with bikes and plastics inside. There was also a number of cylinders on site.

Firefighters fully extinguished the fire by 7:30pm. 

The fire investigation was carried out, but the cause was not found.
