Fire in industrial building

Firefighters were called to reports of a fire in an industrial unit in Fambridge this afternoon.

When fire crews arrived they reported that the unit, which was used as a vehicle repair workshop, was 25% alight. The unit measured approximately 10m x 30m.

Firefighters managed to quickly get the fire under control and extinguished it by 3:15pm. Fire crews managed to save around half of the workshop from fire damage.

Two people suffering burns were left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
