Road traffic collision - person trapped

Firefighters rescued a person from their vehicle after we were called to a road traffic collision in Heybridge at 1:15pm.

On arrival, crews reported that two vehicles had collided and one vehicle was in a precarious position over a ditch with a person trapped inside.

Crews worked to rescue the person and bring the car back into a safe position by 3:11pm.

The casualty was left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
