Road traffic collision - vehicle hits shop front

Firefighters assisted at the scene of a road traffic collision this afternoon.

On arrival, crews reported that one vehicle had collided with a shop front, which had partially collapsed - leaving two people trapped inside the vehicle.

Firefighters worked hard to make the scene safe as quickly as possible and released both people by 3.22pm.
