On this page,you can learn about staying safe around fire, water, beaches, the sun, railways, electricity and at home. These short video lessons are suitable for children in Key Stage One, ages five to seven.

This lesson focuses on the Great Fire of London and how fire services have changed. We also look at home fire safety and the importance of smoke alarms, as well as what to do if there is a fire in your home.

This lesson focuses on staying safe in water, at the beach, in the sun, near railways, electricity and at home.
3: Could you survive in cold water?
The RNLI demonstrate how to survive if you find yourself in cold water unexpectedly.
4: Sun Safety by Despicable Me
In this lesson, the Minions provide tips about staying safe from harmful UV rays when outdoors in the sun.
5: Water Safety by Despicable Me
In this lesson, the Minions provide tips about staying safe near the water.
6: People Who Help Us
In this lesson, we look at what the different emergency services do to keep us safe in our communities.
