Building Service Engineer
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £33,799 to £36,876 pa (Plus Market supplement of £6,124 pa)

Essex County Fire and Rescue Property Services are looking for a key and important resource for their professional and high performing Property Services team.
Working on your own initiative as part of a small engineering team within in a busy and complex in house Property Service your duties will include stock condition surveys, defect and repair direction, minor and project works. The role will also involve assisting with the delivery of the ECFRS planned preventative maintenance contract ensuring that a busy 24 hour service stays warm, keeps cool and can see.
The Building Service Engineer will need a significant range of capabilities including an eye for detail and a constant drive for improvement. Delivery timescales can be tight and a thorough understanding of a risk based approach to delivery will help ensure your successes. The ability to communicate effectively at all levels in and outside the organisation reflects the high level of commitment to continued improvement throughout the team.
