The person who has to any extent control (landlord, owner or other employer etc) has a responsibility to make sure that the Fire Safety Order is complied with, in the parts they control. This may require communication and co-operation between all parties to ensure co-ordination of fire safety provisions, firefighting measures, evacuation procedures etc.
