Fund for firefighter's family

Steve Capp

A fund has been set up for the family of Hadleigh firefighter Stephen Capp, who was killed earlier this week in a road accident.

The fund was initially set up for ECFRS staff to make donations, but after a number of requests from outside the Service, the account details are being made public so that anyone can make a contribution.

Cash or cheques may be paid to the following Essex Fire Authority bank account, using bank counter paying-in slips at Lloyds TSB, Sort Code: 30-00-02 Account number: 00418809.

Stephen, 39, a father of five, who lived in Yately, Hampshire, has served with Essex County Fire and Rescue Service for two years. He was also a retained firefighter with the Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service.
