Essex County Fire and Rescue Service

Safety videos highlight prevention work

A series of three videos highlight the protection and prevention work being carried out by Essex County Fire and Rescue Service.

Each of the videos, which were made with Heart Essex, focuses on a different aspect of the safety work carried out and the work being done to help make Essex safer.

One video looks at kitchen fire safety, the second at the importance of smoke alarms and the third at the valuable work being carried out to take the fire safety message to the next generation through school visits.

Divisonal Officer Neil Fenwick said: “A great deal of the work we do revolves around preventing incidents from happening in the first place and these videos highlight that work and the important messages we’re sharing about fire safety.”

Essex County Fire and Rescue Service will supply and fit smoke alarms entirely free of charge as part of a free home safety visit. To find out more, and arrange a visit for your home, call on 0300 303 0088 or fill out the online form found here.
