Library exhibitions reach 600 Essex residents
The last six weeks have seen Essex County Fire and Rescue Service hold library exhibtions across the County, providing an opportunity for the residents of Essex, Southend and Thurrock to understand better the options the Service is consulting on.
The consultation team have spoken to nearly 600 people at the 17 library exhibitions.
SDO Paul Bowers, Business Change Manager said:
“These library events have been a great way for our communities to learn about the options for change. They have allowed us to interact with members of the public and answer any questions they might have.
“The library events are one of a range of ways we are using to reach the residents of Essex and provide information on the three options.
“There are still plenty of ways to make sure your opinion is heard. To learn more and take part in the consultation by filling in a short questionnaire visit the ECFRS website here.”
