ECFRS Receives Ford Awards
The Service received two awards as part of Ford Motor Company’s Chairman's Leadership Awards for Diversity 2014.
ECFRS received an award from Graham Hoare, Executive Director PTE, in recognition of the Service’s work in enhancing the wider community of Dunton. The Service also received an award in recognition of its Europewide nomination for Leading the Way.
The recognition ceremony, which was held at Ford’s Dunton site on Thursday December 4, was attended by Acting Chief Fire Officer Adam Eckley and EFA Chairman Cllr Anthony Hedley.
The awards celebrate the valuable contributions of all teams and individuals from Dunton in all fields of Diversity and Community Involvement. They follow their excellent joint working between Ford and ECFRS in creating the driving simulator based at Waltham Abbey and the FireCar RTC reduction initiative.
