Essex County Fire and Rescue Service

Don't miss out - have your say

Don’t miss out on the chance to play a role in shaping the future of Essex County Fire and Rescue Service.

The first stage of the largest, and most far reaching, consultation the Service has ever undertaken comes to an end on September 6 so there is still a chance to make sure that your voice is heard.

The consultation will set the future for the fire service in Essex as it gets ready to face the challenges the next five years hold. The consultation is in two stages the first of which is the Integrated Risk Management Plan (IRMP) Consultation Document which will be used to create the principles informing the development of a set of options for change.

The IRMP Consultation Document looks at a number of key issues as the Service faces a future which will see the Service balancing the need for a strong response balanced with the need to provide a greater focus on prevention and protection as the number of incident attended declines.

There are loads of way to have your say including an online survey. You can find the full consultation document and survey here:

As first stage the consultation enters its last week don’t miss out on your chance to have your say on the future of ECFRS. Read the document and then get in touch.
