Girl rescued after road traffic collision

Firefighters rescued a girl after a three-vehicle road traffic collision.
 
Crews were called to Burnham Road, Mundon, today at 8.01am after a collision involving two cars and a van.
 
A girl was trapped in one of the vehicles and firefighters used cutting equipment to remove the roof. 
 
They freed her at 9.34am and left her in the care of the Ambulance Service.
 
Watch Manager Martin Cable said: “Crews worked extremely hard in hot conditions to free to girl and thankfully her injuries were not life-threatening.”
