Fatal road traffic collision

Crews were called to a road traffic collision between a car and a motorbike.
Firefighters assisted the Ambulance Service and made the scene safe.
Sadly, a man died at the scene.
Essex Police has released the following statement:
"A motorcyclist has died following a collision in Braintree.
"We were called to Glebe Avenue at around 11.20am today (Saturday, May 12) to reports of a two vehicle collision.
"It was reported a motorbike and a Subaru car were travelling north along Glebe Avenue when the motorbike was in collision with a Nissan near Stanes Road.
"The Subaru drove off.
"The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, suffered serious injuries and, sadly, died at the scene.
"The driver of the Nissan, a 43-year-old woman, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. She remains in custody.
Investigating officer Sergeant Steve Holmes, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “We need to identify exactly what led up to this collision and how it happened.
“In particular I want to speak to anyone who saw the motorbike and Subaru prior to the collision.
“I need anyone who witnessed the collision, lives in the area and has CCTV, or was driving in the area and has dash cam footage to come forward.”
