Static buildings alight

In attendance: 2 x Loughton, 1 x Waltham Abbey, 1 x Chingford (LFB), 1 x Hainult (LFB), 1 x Woodford (LFB)

Firefighters are tackling a blaze involving a range of static homes.

The incident commander reports that three of the buildings are well alight. Crews are tackling the fire and protecting surrounding risks to prevent it from spreading. Firefighters are using two main jets, three hose reel jets and one monitor (an unmanned jet).

Update 08:57hrs: Crews have the fire surrounded. They are using five main jets and two hose reel jets to tackle the fire. The incident commander reports that one static home is completely alight and a further two badly damaged by the fire. An ambulance is at the scene attending to a man who has suffered burns as a result of the fire.

Update 10:27hrs: Crews are still working at the scene as turn over and damp down to deal with the last of the fire and eliminate hot-spots. A two pump relief is set to take over at the scene soon.

Update 11:31hrs: Crews have extinguished the fire using six jets and four hose reels. Firefighters will revisit the incident scene at 15:00hrs.
