Salary:                   £37,849 - £40,760 pa / pro-rata pa

We are  recruiting a Performance Analyst to join our busy Performance and Data team. We are looking for someone who is a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong analytical skills and experience of working with complex data.

As part of this role you will be leading on the production of performance reports for our Service Leadership Team (SLT) and the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner (PFCC). You will also be supporting the development of our Integrated Risk Management Plan and our Service transformation programme.

Using a variety of performance, risk analysis and GIS tools you will be responsible for the production of performance management and intelligence information across all areas of our fire service.

You will assist in the collection and analysis of performance intelligence relating to key performance indicators and associated targets as well as undertaking geographical analysis and producing reports for the PFCC, SLT, colleagues within the Service and external partners.

You will possess strong IT skills particularly in Excel and SQL. Experience of reporting tools such as Actuate, SSRS or Business Objects is also desirable. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to interpret trends and present your work effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills will be required to communicate effectively and professionally with all our staff and customers whilst remaining professional and calm under pressure.
