DofE & Business Support Assistant

Community Development Operations Assistant

Permanent Contract

Working Hours:          37 hours per week         

Salary:                         £23,836 - £26,317

Location:                     Kelvedon Park

To support the operation and development of the Community Development & Safeguarding Team and the Duke of Edinburgh Centre of Excellence at Essex County Fire & Rescue Service ensuring partners and staff are effectively supported.

To undertake any other duties, which the Community Development & Safeguarding Team (CD&ST) require including and to market the DofE to new and existing groups and recruit of new partners in line with (CD&ST) targets

To establish, promote and maintain strong working relationships with CofE partners to ensure the delivery of a high quality DofE programme and ensure effective day-to-day contact and support for partners

To contribute to the induction and training of partners with specific responsibility for the Introduction of DofE training

To assist with the achievement growth targets, regarding increased participation and completions as identified by the CD&ST, by working closely with staff and volunteers

To ensure the delivery of the DofE meets UK quality standards and work with staff and volunteers to maintain and improve quality
