Community Safety Administration Apprentice

18 month fixed-term contract

Working Hours:                 37 Hours

Salary:                              £15,796.04 per annum

Location:                          Kelvedon Park

Working within our Community Safety Department, you will be committed to providing exceptional administrative support to this busy and varied department.

Whether it’s inputting data from various campaigns, researching reports, taking minutes, supporting project work or liaising with staff, you’ll be making the public safer by providing excellent administrative support to the team, as well as friendly advice and guidance to all those who need it.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

A.  Provide general support and assistance in all areas of administration within the Safer Communities Department at Head Quarters.

B. Process and record incoming mail, search and retrieve documents from the internet/intranet, maintain and order all stationery and other ancillary items, arrange and attend meetings and visits, produce and distribute minutes.

C. To compile basic statistics, assisting local managers with performance management.  To maintain effective service recording and filing systems/library. To maintain, update and process work on the CRM and other databases.

D. To receive sensitive information and provide confidential administrative support to staff within the Safer Communities Department.
