Fire Service Operational Activity Awareness
Essex County Fire and Rescue Service has developed this course to give designers and decision makers within the building environment an understanding of the importance of access and water supplies for firefighters in building design.This specialist course consists of theory sessions, practical exercises and scenarios. It will give you experience and knowledge of the importance of firefighting facilities.You will also understand how these facilities enable firefighters to deal with risk critical incidents safely and with minimum damage to the building.
This course has been accredited by the IFE and is awarded 6.5 hours Continued Professional Development

Open enrolment – building control officers, fire engineers, architects and anyone involved in the design and construction of buildings.
