Our Information and Data
Essex County Fire and Rescue Service is supportive of the principles of the Local Government Transparency Code which endorses the ethos that all data held and managed by local authorities should be made available to the public - taking into account certain sensitivities for privacy and security considerations – and that this data can be used by the local businesses for business opportunities, better management of public assets and services and to help combat fraud.
The Code was introduced to meet the Government’s desire for increased accountability and, through delivery of its recommendations, it allows the public access to the tools and information they need to enable them to play a bigger role in society.
ECFRS’ Transparency data is related to the Freedom of Information act (FOI) and shares a common portal . Click here to go to the Transparency Data.
Any requests for information related to the Transparency Data can be made by following the process outlined in the FOI page on the ECFRS website.
Corporate information including organisational data published as a requirement of the transparency code is provided here.
It is our intention to make a comprehensive portal of information available, so we would ask you to check the information is not here before raising formal enquiries or FOI requests.
